Aspiral Acting Studio manager and student Jennifer Emmaline (left) has been nominated for a New England Actor “Best of” (NEABO) Award for Best Dramatic Acting Clip: Female. Jennifer’s nominated acting clip, from the film Isn’t It Romantic, features her acting opposite Aspiral Acting Studio alumna Alexandra Bettencourt (right).
Aspiral coach Albert M. Chan has also been nominated in three categories: Best Dramatic Acting Clip: Male, Best Comedic Acting Clip: Male, and Best Hosting Reel: Male. Albert’s nominated dramatic acting clip from the film Every Day features him acting opposite Helen Hunt and Liev Schreiber, while his comedic acting clip is from NBC’s 30 Rock.
The Best Acting Clip nominees were selected by James Mottern, who recently directed the locally shot feature God Only Knows, starring Harvey Keitel, Leighton Meester, and Ben Barnes. James Mottern is the recipient of a prestigious Nicholls Fellowship for Screenwriting sponsored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Sunday, May 4th at The Center for Performing Arts in Natick, MA. For more information, click here.
